Bernardi Chamber Ensemble with Richard Stilgoe
at St. Mary's Church for 'Fanfare 2003'

WELCOME

Andrew Bernardi formed the Bernardi Music Group in 2001 to bring together solo orchestral chamber music and charitable courses including what was the newly formed Shipley Arts Festival which was established by Andrew and a strong team in 2001. The group is exceptionally creative in repertoire and presentation. We delight in sharing our enthusiasm for outstanding music making.

The Bernardi Music Group has become a vibrant and forward looking international level professional orchestra with String Chamber Academy and a charitable outreach through Shipley Arts Festival in the heart of West Sussex.

The Bernardi Music Group has enjoyed a highly successful tour of Ireland in recent weeks and a wide variety of engagements and tours abroad in 2008. The Bernardi Music Group is a mixed blend of the UK’s leading players from conservatoire staff and the London Orchestras. We are very grateful to all our many supporters for attending concerts and sharing in a vision of bringing together communities through music.

We have had a busy year with another tour planned, and numerous concerts through the summer. We have a very special concert with an extension of the String Chamber Academy which proved such a success this year. Please download posters here for our September 20th Concert which celebrates Vaughan Williams and his connections with Horsham. We are very grateful to Horsham Folk Club and also Horsham District Council for supporting this event, and welcome string players of grade six and above standard to join the Bernardi Music Group for this exceptionally creative event. Please email for further details or call 01403 741685
