The Gifted and Talented String Academy consists of an average of twelve days per year. The String Academy is supported by over 200 Sussex and Surrey Schools as the lead enrichment programme for String players through the e-PD programme. The String Academy is also engaged in our Chino UK exchange programme Trinity Sannyi Music Academy which has recently been resident Summer School at the Yehudi Menuhin School.
To join String Academy: You need to play Violin, Viola, Cello or Double Bass. Players are aged from nine years old to twenty, and elementary to post diploma standard. Past members include a former Young Musician of the Year, and over thirty musicians have successfully formed careers in music. Young musicians are organised into groups of similar standards, and typically have one piece which forms a String Orchestra.
